Well… that’s not supposed to leak.
Storm Damage Restoration in Spokane, WA
Once wind, hail or a falling pine opens up the roof, storm damage restoration in Spokane is about everything that happens inside the house next. We trace every place the water reached and dry it out, then rebuild the ceilings and walls it ruined.
Small storms do damage too
Spokane storms don’t have to look dramatic to cause trouble. Hail can crack a skylight. A winter windstorm can lift a few shingles you won’t notice until a brown stain spreads across the ceiling a week later. By the time water shows inside, it has often been soaking into the attic for a while, so we look up there first.
Rain that gets past the shingles soaks insulation, runs along rafters and can turn up two rooms away from the hole. Wet insulation and sagging ceiling drywall usually have to come out.
Roof, tree or ceiling: who handles what
A storm job can need more than one trade. Here’s how it usually splits.
The tree
A tree crew has to get it off the house before anyone can work on the roof underneath.
The roof
A roofer seals it. We work around their schedule so the ceilings go back up after the roof is closed, never before.
Everything inside
That part is ours: wet insulation, ceilings, drywall, framing and paint, dried out and rebuilt.
The claim
Insurers want to know what the wind did and what was already worn out, so we photograph the damage before anything moves. How we help with insurance.
When the pines come down up north
Whitworth and North Spokane are full of tall pines, and windstorms bring them down onto roofs, decks and garages. After a big blow the damage tends to follow a pattern: a limb through the roof, soaked insulation, and a ceiling that starts to sag a day or two later.

After the storm
A tree fell on my house. What should I do first?
Get everyone out of the rooms under it. If a power line is down, keep well away and call the power company or 911. Then call your insurance company and us, and we’ll help you sort out what has to happen tonight and what can wait for daylight.
How can I tell if water got into the attic?
Look for stains or bubbling paint on the ceiling, or insulation that looks flat and matted. Sometimes nothing shows yet. A moisture meter finds water you can’t see, which is why we check before anyone says it’s fine.
How long until the ceiling goes back up?
Once the roof is sealed and the framing reads dry. After the first visit we’ll give you a realistic idea of how long that will take for your house.
We are here for you.
Whatever happened, call and talk to a real person. We'll tell you what we'd do next, whether we perform the work or not.
